Would You Like To Be a Skilled Leader?

"Stop Trying to Win the War in Your Mind

Just Do Your Job!"

In his wildest dreams, Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Bradley P. Jones never thought he would make a career out of the military. Through the setbacks, the disappointments, and the trials, there were many life-changing moments, including the death of his first wife when he was 37 years old and had 3 young children.

Bradley P. Jones (Command Sergeant Major) enlisted in the United States Army in 1984 and served until 1988 as a ground control approach radar repairman. Upon completion of his initial enlistment and a break in service, he joined the Utah Army National Guard in 1993.

His military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Reserve Medal (with “M” Device), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters), and the Master Aviation Crewmember badge.

In Bradley’s civilian career, he works for the FAA as an Airway Transportation System Specialist (ATSS) in the Service Operations Center (SOC) of the Salt Lake Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).

In Bradley's interview, he shares his incredible story and what he learned in the military about leadership that we can apply to all areas of our lives.

There was something about serving his country that constantly called to Bradley through his missionary service in South America and into his university studies. A calling Bradley finally succumbed to, reenlisting back into an AH-64 Apache helicopter battalion near the university. From there, his service led to a career he loved working on Apaches as a full-time federal employee while starting a family with his wife as a newlywed.

While serving in Kuwait on September 11, 2001, his life and career, along with everyone in uniform, changed along with the rest of the country. From there, his career trajectory seemed to him to be predetermined, finally culminating in his appointment to serve his beloved fellow soldiers as the top enlisted member in the battalion.

How Does Giving More Benefit You and Why is it Necessary?

Bob DePasquale was diagnosed with cancer and experienced a terrible act of terrorism within a few days.  He thought the world was coming to an end.

Bob had always believed in taking care of the things he had been blessed with by helping others do the same. His perspective derived from his battle with cancer and his life threatened at the age of 18.

After this experience, Bob realized the powerful force that the giving mindset is after experiencing his life-threatening illness and the terrorist attacks. He spent 15 years learning how to apply giving principles in his own business and it is now his mission to help others do the same. Organizations that have a generous culture are bound to attract better employees and better customers. Bob would not be around to speak if it were not for some amazing acts of generosity.

You May Not Change the World...

But You May Change the World for One

Out of the Shadow of 9/11: An Inspiring Tale of Escape and Transformation

When the planes hit the Twin Towers, Christina Ray Stanton’s life changed forever. As the new dawn of terrorism began, the Manhattan resident and her husband fearfully witnessed the impact just six blocks away from Ground Zero. As toxic dust spread into the air, the Stantons boarded a boat off the island and into the unknown.

9/11 totally reset the course of our lives. In the years since the attacks, interest in 9/11 has waned and education about it has been lacking. The 20-year anniversary of the worst attack on US soil is this year. Christina wants to re-engage the public with information about 9/11 via a new, unique voice and from a different perspective than typically offered.

Christina is a 9/11 historian, and Financial District resident who lived six blocks from the attacks, and an NYC licensed tour guide who has been giving tours of the World Trade Center complex since 1995.

Christina Ray Stanton is an award-winning author of two books and several articles and is a professional speaker who has appeared on TBN, Fox, CBN, and others. She is a licensed NYC tour guide of 25 years who specializes in 9/11 history. She and her husband founded Loving All Nations, a nonprofit organization that helps the world's poor and marginalized.

9/11

In March 2020, Christina caught a near-fatal case of COVID-19. This could be from a compromised immune system stemming from the 9/11 fallout. These two calamities have left Christina with long-term health issues and were mentally challenging to overcome. But her faith provided strength and sustained her.

9/11

When the planes hit the Twin Towers, Christina Ray Stanton’s life changed forever. As the new dawn of terrorism began, the Manhattan resident and her husband fearfully witnessed the impact just six blocks away from Ground Zero. As toxic dust spread into the air, the Stantons boarded a boat off the island and into the unknown.

With a close friend dead and their beloved dog clinging to life, the Stantons’ faith in God was tested. But after months away from her home, Christina trusted in a higher purpose to claim a stronger future.

If you like true stories, heart-wrenching journeys, and emotionally raw perspectives, then you’ll love Christina Ray Stanton’s honest perspective.

Covid

She Endured 9/11 . . .
Would She Survive COVID-19?

It was March 2020, and rumors of a mysterious virus filled the air. But busy New York City tour guide Christina Ray Stanton paid little attention. After all, she and her husband had survived 9/11; it would take more than a virus to slow them—or their city—down.

But within days, Stanton saw her beloved Manhattan become a ghost town as fear of the novel coronavirus swept the nation. Seeking safety, she and her husband left the city to stay with family in Florida. They didn’t realize that rather than escaping the storm, they were heading into the eye of the hurricane: Stanton was already infected with COVID-19 and would soon be fighting for her life from a hospital bed hundreds of miles from home.

In this unforgettable first-person account, Stanton shares the physical, mental, and emotional agony she endured as the virus ravaged her body. Given a 50/50 chance of survival, she didn’t lose hope. She relied on her community and her faith to sustain her through the painful journey. Along the way, she learned new lessons in gratitude, emerging stronger, more resilient, and with a renewed sense of purpose.
