You Can Overcome the Scars of Bullying

Wish you were here Badfinger
Joyce Isaacson is an active blogger, author, and worked for the Chicago Tribune Editorial Department for ten years.  Her novel, "Wish You Were Here, Badfinger....A Rock Fantasy" has opened up many opportunities to help people deal with loss of a friend or loved one.

From a very young age, Joyce suffered extreme abuse through bullying by both classmates and teachers.  She dislocated her hip from tripping over a stuffed toy and missed a lot of school.  This led to a pattern of abuse and betrayal that followed her well into her adult years.

You will enjoy her interview sharing her own story and her quirky novel:

NO Excuse For Bullying - EVER!

Monica Perrett
Monica Perrett lives in Australia and is the mother of six children.  She is currently writing a book on changing the law giving more rights for parents of teenage runaways.

Monica won the Mother of the Year award.  While she was out of town, receiving the award, her three-month-old son died.

Because Monica's foster son died at home, she was stripped of her rights as a parent and not allowed to attend his funeral.

With anger and determination, she single-handedly was able to get that LAW CHANGED.

Never Accept Trash Talk

Traci Lawrence is an author, freelance editor, blogger and substitute teacher.  Her main focus and true passion is self-acceptance.

Her book, Accept No Trash Talk: Overcoming the Odds, is a self-help book about overcoming the effects of disrespectful communication; bullying.

Traci was mercilessly bullied throughout her school years because of her height and religion.

Instead of allowing those harsh words to destroy her, Traci used that strength she earned to write a book, helping others who may be suffering the same way.
