Are You Stuck in Shame or Do You Want to Live in Freedom?

When Tess Scott's third husband left her, she spent weeks with her face buried in the green shag carpet begging God to make him stay.  He didn't.

But that is only the beginning of the story. Tess was diagnosed with breast cancer three weeks after her marriage was reconciled. Instead of enjoying the honeymoon, she was going through treatment for cancer.

Tess understands what it feels like to have never-ending stress including parenting an adopted son with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), two sons struggling with substance abuse, and one who attempted suicide.

Do you have a 'messy story'? Tess is on a mission to encourage others who have endured much to realize they are not alone.

Tess Scott is a speaker and an award-winning author of Listen Sister - Finding Hope in the Freakshow of Life.

Most of us will relate to Tess's story in some way and all of us will enjoy her humor as she shares tragedy, heartbreak, and extreme stress in raising EIGHT children.

Tess lives by the motto - "Sometimes what seems to be the worst timing is actually the best." She explains this in her interview and asks if you are stuck in shame -- or would you rather live in freedom?  You will enjoy her interview:

Never Allow Meager Beginnings Stop You from Reaching Your Ultimate Goals

Dr. Salvatore Forcina survived against all odds. His story is one of tenacity and perseverance.

Dr. Forcina was born in Italy in 1941. This was the time of World War 2 and the war and its aftermath presented locals with few options other than to flee their homes and later, ultimately, their country.

Dr. Forcina has been a general and vascular surgeon for forty years and also trained in trauma surgery.

Listen to his story here:

Born in Italy during World War II, Salvatore Forcina was a young boy who survived all odds by living through his young childhood without any real or proper shelter. Like many Italians during this time, a month after turning eight years old his parents followed this migration to Argentina, a developing country at the time rich with natural resources and hope for a more stable life.

Sent away to live with Redemptorist priests for seven long years as the only available option to study, this young boy struggled emotionally and psychologically with no social outlets and little emotional development. Salvatore's dream to study medicine and help people propelled him to carry on and continue his education, eventually being educated and living on three different continents, each with a new language to learn and master.

Despite his meager beginnings which provided no social and little educational opportunity and despite the many years and setbacks it took him to accomplish this, his goal was ultimately accomplished because of his sheer determination. This true-life story is motivating, uplifting, and based on what genuine love of family can provide to someone.

How Do You Move Past the Pain of Life's Curve Balls?

When your life is thrown a curve ball and you lose your husband at 47 years old -- what then? What about your future? How do you cope?

Kim met tall, dark, and handsome Steve Sorrelle who proposed ten days later.  It was a love story written in the heavens. They raised five children -- life was good.

Kim Sorrelle began journaling after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2009. Four months later, her husband Steve was told he had pancreatic cancer. Six weeks later, Kim held him as he took his last breath.

Kim is a writer, speaker, entrepreneur, director of a humanitarian organization, activist, mother, grandmother, lover of all people, and.....black licorice.

Kim's story will make you laugh....and cry. She is a master at sharing life's tragedies mixed with laughter.

Kim's entrepreneurial journey included commercial real estate, a golf course, catering, a grocery store, and more. Besides building businesses into multi-million-dollar companies, Kim is proud to have weathered the pandemic storm in the food industry, keeping staff employed, and seeing the company's sales grow beyond pre-pandemic numbers.

Kim is the director of Rays of Hope International, a partnering organization that works with people in their country who have a passion, a vision, and a mission to help people through business plans, fundraising, sustainability, planning, supplies, and building. Working in countries like Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Burkina Faso, Rays of Hope has enjoyed relationships with hundreds of organizations that are working to help the underserved and vulnerable population.

"Love Keeps No Record of Wrongs"

There are so many things that we do not have control over, things that we would not ever choose: cancer, losing a spouse, tragic accidents. But we can choose how we will handle these things. Joy is a choice that anyone can make but not everyone knows how. Facing cancer, becoming a widow, and losing the future, as the author saw it, made her recognize that she had to choose a way to deal with the present.

Engage with a love that transcends social experiments and leads to a radically transformed life

"Love is patient, love is kind, love is . . ." The words are so familiar they almost lack meaning, a Christianese version of "live, laugh, love." Even non-Christians are familiar with the Love chapter of 1 Corinthians, read at weddings, painted on decorative signs, and preached regularly from the pulpit. But what happens when these verses are taken seriously? What would it take for someone to live out the Love chapter as literally as possible?

That was the question Kim Sorrelle set out to answer during her yearlong experiment. Using 1 Corinthians 13 as a road map, she focused on one phrase at a time, seeking to understand its true meaning and how it could motivate every daily action. She also looked at the ones we do not think too deeply about: love does not boast, does not dishonor others, doesn't keep a record of wrongs, and more.

In her attempts to live the Love chapter to the letter, Kim journeyed all the way to Haiti, where she met people who both tested and displayed love to its limits. From irritating employees to sexist short-term missionaries to curse-wielding women to the profoundly kind nuns, her encounters are filled with rueful self-reflection and comical commentary, as well as a new understanding of the nuances and power of true love in action.

Kim's transformation into someone who truly loves like Jesus will challenge readers to think more deeply about how they can manifest love in their own lives and will reveal the power of Christlike devotion that is unwearied and humble, contented and forgiving. Her exploration is an incredible encounter with the filling, strengthening love of God -- a love that truly never fails.

Do You Know One of Medical Profession's Most Horrific Dirty Little Secrets?

ATTENTION: Anyone with back issues in need of surgery MUST read this first.

Dr. Ardavan Aslie is a board-certified spine surgeon who received his undergraduate
education at the University of California, Berkeley, where he double-majored in
physiology and genetics. He earned his MD from New York Medical College and
completed his residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City while working with
some of the world's most renowned scoliosis surgeons. He received his spine surgery
fellowship training at Harvard University. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Aslie
has been active in researching and developing cutting-edge treatments for
osteoporotic and aging spines.

Dr Ardavan Aslie

Dr. Aslie's new hard-hitting exposé CORPORATE SPINE: How Spinal Surgery Went
Off Track and How We Put it Right reveals eye-opening new research into the
surprisingly common practice of using pedicle screws in spine surgery and despite
overwhelming evidence that they are practically useless and cause harm down the
road.

Seeing the money, the funding, and the support to cover up this dirty secret made me question if this was right – but I knew I had to write a book about uncovering the truth.

Each year, an estimated half-million people will undergo spinal fusion surgery in the US alone.
In most cases, surgeons will implant rods and screws into a patient’s fused vertebrae as part of the procedure. There’s just one (enormous) problem: according to the published medical literature, the screws provide little to no benefit for patients. They do, however, provide billions in profit for a handful of medical device companies.

In this meticulously researched and hard-hitting exposé, veteran California spine surgeon Ardavan Aslie, MD, sounds the alarm on this all-too-common but unproven standard of care. Despite overwhelming evidence that pedicle screws often do more harm than good, device manufacturers continue to push profits over patients. The failure of spine surgery to develop and utilize more effective surgical options has, sadly, led it to a dead end.

It doesn’t have to be this way. In
Corporate Spine, Dr. Aslie explains how spinal surgery got to this low point, how patients can protect themselves, and how spinal surgery can get back on track to help, not hurt, the estimated 16 million Americans suffering from chronic back pain. Whether this describes you or someone you know, Corporate Spine offers an illuminating report from the frontlines that will both astound and empower.

Are You Viewing Your World From a Human Perspective....Or?

Michaell Magrutsche is an Austrian/Californian multidisciplinary artist, awareness/creativity educator, speaker, and author of five books related to art. He is an advocate for helping understand neurodiversity.

Michaell's dyslexia and dysgraphia (hand-eye coordination) forced him to develop an awareness of seeing the world purely from a human perspective. Creating art completed his awareness of what it is to be human, our habitat nature, and how to be the steward for OUR habitat and the next generations.

Michaell’s talent is recognizing awareness to seed a new consciousness that allows us to unveil the untapped superpowers of human limitlessness, art/creativity, healthy discourse, and adaptability to make all humans fit within our human tapestry.

As a child, Michaell's dyslexia and dysgraphia (hand-eye coordination) he could only navigate in very few systems. Michaell was forced to find his salvation in art. Interacting and creating art outside of systems helped him feel humane and got him through life.

Michaell is completely self-taught. Art allowed him to experience life with other humans and five books later Michaell produced with Robert Evans and became a City Arts Commissioner.

He discovered that creating art is humans' greatest inherent superpower, followed by healthy dialogue and adaptability. These superpowers are applicable to everything from creativity, leadership, business, education, relationships, and what else humans focus on.

Michaell keeps unveiling the limitations of all man-made systems like technology,
science, economy, and generalized knowledge to change systems to be more human-adaptable instead of humans keep forcing themselves to be system adaptive.

This work raises our human potential instead of making us blinder and ignoring our human worth for system values. We are wasting too much life force and energy on system navigation to achieve limited system value.

Michaell’s mission is to show us something very different. We are in an unconsciousness crisis. We don’t see that all our ever-growing (financial principles)creations led us to a pivotal point of diminishing returns.

Today, we have such an overabundance of goods and services that we have become incapable of consuming. We all keep creating and marketing but besides money we don’t even have the time to sort through them, let alone the time to use or consume all those offerings that we all keep creating more and more of.

Time has become humans' most valuable thing, not money and systems that we give our life force to function. Work and tinkering can enrich our human experience to live more fulfilled lives but we unconsciously deprive ourselves of living a human life through systems, our metaverse.

This is why we have to become conscious. Humans have relinquished so much to systems, which demand more systems and more system work that our passion for human tinkering/creating has become work for money and now work to survive.

Michaell’s truth compass is our humans’ limitlessness and nature’s sense of balance. The awareness and wisdom of this focus continuously reveal our eternal knowledge of humankind and the recognition of our human potential.

That’s why there is nothing more to do but to be aware and become conscious. Understand what it means to be human, our habitat nature, and how to be the steward for OUR habitat and the next generations. When conscious, change will happen automatically.

His interview will challenge and inspire you to become the best YOU that you can be for YOURSELF.

“We could heal the world and others by being the best YOU that each can be for YOURSELF to contribute with each uniqueness seamlessly to the whole of humanity.”
