The Truth Revealed on How to Deal with Tragedy

NO MATTER how we prepare ourselves - when tragedy strikes it often throws us off the course we set for ourselves.

Truth Revealed on How to deal with tragedy

Mary Potter Kenyon became a certified grief counselor in 2017. Mary works as Program Coordinator for Shalom Spirituality Center in Dubuque, Iowa, where she lives with the youngest of her eight children. Mary is widely published in newspapers, magazines, and anthologies, and the author of seven books, including the award winning Refined By Fire: A Journey of Grief and Grace, and the recently released Called to Be Creative: A Guide to Reigniting Your Creativity.

When Mary's husband, a five-year cancer survivor, died following a heart stent surgery in March 2012, four of her eight children still lived at home. She was 52 years old and had never worked full-time outside of her home. Suddenly she was faced with being a single parent. She had been someone’s wife since she was 19 years old. What NOW?

The AWE Factor - How a Little bit of Wonder Can Change your Life

THE AWE FACTOR shows readers how a little bit of wonder can make a big difference in their life.

For many people, 2020 was not a great year. The Awe Factor reveals why becoming more aware of the awe, wonder, and magic moments that surround us every day, can make 2021 a better year.

Among other things the author will show you:

—What awe is and why it is important. (A simple awe walk can help relieve depression & anxiety in seniors.)

—Why viewing things like the Grand Canyon is only a tiny part of the awe experience.

—What is the leading generator of awe. (No, it’s not the birth of a child.)

—Knock-your-socks-off inspirational awe-related stories. (Mini and Major awe moments)

—How your followers can take a test to determine their Awe-Score.

BTW…

Did you know that just looking at an awe-inspiring picture of nature can provide the same benefits as actually being in nature?

Are You Tired of Misery in your Life?

"In every moment, there is a reason to carry on - this is a transitory moment and it will not be like this forever."

1985 … Los Angeles

The Hair Band era has just begun, cocaine is the drug du jour and as the first girl hired at the iconic Hollywood Guitar Center, Taylor Van Arsdale was given a front-row seat to a parade of dreamers, druggies, and misfits flocking to the store. But in this world of — yes — sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll, is also the story of a young girl discovering herself, making mistakes, falling in and out of love, and becoming a woman.

Can an Unbreakable Spirit Triumph Over Brokenness?

"Addiction is a stealth predator. Unrecognized, it will grow and flourish. Unchecked, it destroys."
Stepping Stones

Marilea C. Rabasa was a lifelong substance user - food, pills, cigarettes, and alcohol were the solution to the stresses of everyday living. This almost always involved some form of overindulgence of an easily attainable substance and for a short time, she would feel better.

As the consequences mounted Marilea fortunately found herself evolving into a woman capable of discipline. Add to that a determination to let go of old habits and make changes became a recipe for renewal.
